Heather Short is the newest artist to Art House Gallery. Her work is completely different from anything else that we have seen and so, late in 2025, we invited her to join our gallery. Working with oils, gold leaf and even with fragments of glass, she creates work that sparkles and shimmers like the sun and the sea and sand of St. Ives. She is constantly stunned by the beauty of St. Ives with the variety of beaches, seascapes and sky views, glimmering in light that differs every day. Heather takes early morning swims and notices all of the astounding changes in her surroundings. These views inspire her to create work that is alive with passion, vitalilty and vision. We are pleased to welcome her into our Art House family.
