Keran Gilmore is a native of St. Ives, Cornwall, and has a long history with both the fishing and art community in the town. Her relationship with her subjects is unique as she knows the area so well, bringing that local knowledge into her paintings. Keran has always spent a lot of time outdoors and knows every nook and cranny of St. Ives; and she brings true intimacy into her painting.
